Little Fugue in G Minor for Piano (JS Bach), 2011. African Mahogany, Dark Red Colonial dye. 87 x 48 x 12 in.
Taking pitch as an indicator of height and the note's value as a measure of length, this cabinetry work literally follows an excerpt from the musical
score in the title. The end result is meant as a prototype for a library stack, but also as a sculptural transposition of time into form.

  Installation view.
The work is accompanied by a series of drawings of other fugue scores.
